The accommodation we stayed in was spotlessly clean, had stylish decor, and included thoughtful touches like chocolates and a large bathtub.

There was a tastefully decorated room with seaview. Extensive and rich breakfasts with sausage, freshly squeezed juices, a bunch of juices freshly made, the staff were all in all very friendly😃

The units are new-fashioned, spotless with private sunset, chocolates, for example. The staff are responsive as well as the host. Thank you for a very good stay.

The rooms here are spacious, modern, and equipped with a mini-fridge, air conditioning, and a personal safe.

This is a great spot to relax and get some rest! A wonderful setting, great rooms, a nice team and good food!

The only disadvantage is, next to the rather isolated location, the limited choice of (western standard) restaurants. A good cooperation between restaurants/hotels might be a suggestion to improve the variety.

The location of the resort is a bit remote and the road access is very bad. Also I consider it is a bit overpriced, compared to equivalent hotels in Thailand

The hotel's villa concept and beach-side location are very good. Also some of the hotel services (in-room beverages, breakfast) are very good.

For a 5* hotel Rasananda can improve slightly on the following: 1) room cleanliness, 2) prices within the resort for the spa services and dinner (too expensive vs alternative options next to the hotel), 3) outdoor activities

This place has a perfect location right on a beautiful beach with free parking available.

The staff were generally lazy and rude. Plates were not cleared from tables , cups not removed from the beach all day . The staff had an attitude especially the reception staff. The food was average . Beach towels ran out by 1.00pm .Spa overpriced for the quality . On leaving the hotel early in the morning we were expected to drag our own suitcases to reception down 2 flights of stairs very badly lit , no offer from staff to help . The public taxi for the port was a 2 door hotel truck we had to clamber in the back of .We had to ask for a take away breakfast that looked like a 3 year old had made it and it human hairs in the packaging .The gm was lazy , hardly visible and not interested in the guest experience. 5 star prices , 3 star guest experience

We absolutely loved our stay at Koh Phangan, Anantara. The rooms were beautiful and excellent theme of the hotel.

However, we found the hotel to be a little pricey as photographs are most luxurious than what we got.

The best hotel staff service we ever experienced in a hotel. We particularly enjoyed the daily 6pm service of staff member delivering a little daily sweet treat sent from the chef (always exotic and delicious) and drawing our curtains, unfolding the bed cover to be ready for sleep, and lighting a small anti-mosquito / ambience candle in the bathroom.

Every day after the daily room cleaning, there was a slight strange smell in the room, perhaps the cleaning staff sprayed something or burnt some incense.
